Marathon county enjoys a rich cultural heritage that spans from the European settlers that farmed the land after the forests were cut, to our contemporary Asian immigrants that add to our community’s rich tapestry. This Saturday is the Wisconsin Family Heritage Day, sponsored by Marathon County 4-H and held at the East Gate Hall in Marathon Park. This all ages family friendly event will give you a chance to many different cultures as you enjoy dancing, storytelling, craft projects, a history of 4-H in the county and much more!

Marathon County 4-H – Wisconsin Family Heritage Day is this Saturday from 9:00am – Noon at the East Gate Hall in Marathon Park. I’m looking forward to being a part of this event; I’ll be set up to record oral histories of growing up in Wausau and Marathon County. Please come and share your story.

But it’s also a closed system, so your message isn’t making outside to the people that don’t normally frequent Facebook. To make matters worse, even more of your followers may not be getting your message due to the overcrowding in the field. That’s why RelyLocal is here to help. We break through the noise and redistribute your message to a growing audience outside of Facebook. Contact us today to learn more. . .

Closing Thoughts

The Wausau Area Builder’s Association annual Home Show is this weekend at the Patriot Center in Rothschild. Going to the home show is a great way to break the ‘cabin fever’ and give you home improvement ideas to tackle once the snow is gone. I’ll be at the home show this Friday from 2pm – 3pm in the Ferguson Enterprises demonstration kitchen cooking up a storm. Stop on by and find out how fun and easy it is to make pizza at home. Hope to see you there.
