Welcome to 2013. It’s always a good feeling to through off the last vestiges of the old year and to welcome the new year filled with hope and vigor. I hope you are just as excited of the prospects for the coming year that I am.

I really want to thank all the RelyLocal Business Members and the Wausau area for making RelyLocal a success. Our audience is very locally minded and if weren’t for that community spirit, the Buy Local mission of RelyLocal wouldn’t be as receptive. Thanks again.

Closing Thoughts

I’m proud to say that I’m honored to be chosen as a celebrity chef for the 2013 YWCA Men Who Cook Event. This will be my third year participating and it’s been an awesome experience every time. Amateur and professional chefs work side by side to produce some amazing dinners in support of the programs and mission of the Wausau YWCA. My table will feature a collection of French Bistro dishes from the Alsace region of France. Alsace is highly agrarian and the food has a definite French, Flemish, and German influence. Think of it as the French version of comfort food. The date is Saturday January 19th and tickets are $75 a person. Details at the YWCA site.
