For much of this year, a common theme of our meetings has been how to keep ‘Local Business Local.’ This month we will delve into the topic more as we discuss What does keeping local business local mean to YOUR business.
As a community we are not an island, we need to consider reaching outside the community as much as we keep our business inside it. But what are the boundaries of ‘local?’ Can we have a healthy local economy and still purchase goods and utilize business services outside our economic zone? Should we be stimulating some other local economy as much as we do ours?
These questions could easily evolve into a philosophic discussion, but I’m sure they are common concerns for anyone that is trying to do business locally. Join us on Thursday September 27 at 7:30am at the Wausau Entrepreneurial and Education Center for this stimulating discussion.
Please share this information and flyer with other small business owners you know and/or do business with. I encourage you to invite anyone you know who might have an interest and could benefit from this business to business program and networking opportunity.
Bring business cards, flyers, coupons, and other promotional materials to share. Breakfast (continental) is on us.
