I typically don’t write about current news events, but when something hits close to home, it’s worth mentioning. As long time resident of this neighborhood, gunshots are not a common occurrence. In fact, I don’t believe I’ve ever heard a gun fired in our neighborhood for the 15 years I’ve lived here. As residents, we’ll step up our neighborhood watch efforts and work hard to make sure things like this don’t happen again.
