This by far is the busiest week of the summer. If you can’t find something to do this weekend, you’re in pretty sad shape. Wausau Area Events Balloon Rally and Ribfest is happening down at the Wausau Downtown Airport, Chalk Fest is going on this Saturday on the 400 block, The Canoe and Kayak Jr World Championships are all week at Whitewater park, plus we’ve got Farmers Markets, music, and activities all over the city. I think I need a rest from all this fun.

I’ve been spending the week up at summer camp with my son. Although I feel a little disconnected with the local happenings back home; I’ve had the opportunity to have a lot of quality time with him. You don’t get many chances to do things like that when they hit their teen years. Enjoy the festivities this weekend, and we’ll see you next week.
