The reconstruction on Prospect street is progressing. It seems difficult to judge their progress as day starts with the crew digging a hole and then filling it back in by evening. But this past week the houses along the street had their water and sanitary sewer connected to the new lines. I guess it begs the question, where does the sewage go when their sewer lines are disconnected? Nobody flush.
Water is easy, all the houses on the block are back-fed water from the hydrant via the outdoor hose spigot. We’re into week three of a five week project. Either they’re behind schedule or the next two weeks are going to go by real quick.
