Live music, entertainment, Spring Formals, and benefits. There’s a whole lot to do this month.

Spring Break is over, Easter is almost here; and I’m looking forward to the spring planting season. A couple of house finches took over the robin’s nest on my front porch. I love watching the birds hatch. I don’t know about you, but I’m crossing my fingers that it won’t snow anymore.

Closing Thoughts

This early spring has been a boon for local agriculture. I know many a farmer that’s chomping at the bit to start planting. Thanks to hoop houses and warm weather, locally grown greens are starting to show up in the stores like The Planted Seed, and Red Clover Market (hint, more about Red Clover next week). The thought is inspiring me to put some seeds in the ground for a little fresh salad.
