Winter is back with a vengeance. The mild temps was a welcome respite, but it sure made the winter activities and sports suffer. But I’m ok with the cold and snow as long as we don’t have the wild swings into the deep freeze.

Closing Thoughts

It is my pleasure to again be one of the celebrity chefs for the YWCA’s Men Who Cook benefit dinner. This fundraiser, now in its 10th year, supports the programs and mission of the YWCA by having area ‘celebrity’ men cook a three course dinner for a table of eight. My table featuring French regional cuisine is sold out, but there are still tables available if you wish to partake in this great event. Details are at the YWCA website.

You can still follow along my journey in preparing for the event, as I’ll post recipes for many of my dishes on the Buy Local Wausau Blog.
