The monthly Keeping Local Business Local networking breakfasts has been picking up steam this fall. We’ve had 15-20 participants show up each month, with 25 for our November meeting. As the result of our discussion at last month’s meeting, we are changing the format of our monthly Keep Local Business Local networking and educational breakfast.
Since the focus of this breakfast is education and networking and wanting to keep the focus local, we’re going to forego the conference call with Fran Tarkenton and instead we will have a round table discussion about the important business issues facing small businesses in the Central Wisconsin market and the economy we all operate in today.
The next Keeping local Business Local event will be on Thursday December 15 from 7:30 – 8:30am. Location is the Wausau Business Development Center at 100 N 72nd Ave in Wausau. The meeting will open with a little open networking and then settle into a roundtable discussion. Our topic this month is: How is the economy treating your business? What are the things that most concern you about your business as we wrap up 2011 and move into the new year.
Hopefully this discussion will spur more roundtable topics for future meetings.
I‘d appreciate it if you’d share this information and flyer with other small business owners you know and/or do business with. I encourage you to invite anyone you know who might have an interest and could benefit from this business to business program and networking opportunity. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to Steve Steffke at 715-355-9920 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
