We’ve waited many months. We had to endure muddy, rutted roads to travel to the Wausau Homes Scout Center and Iozzos restaurant. We had to put up with detours and congested traffic on Grand ave all summer and winter. But the two mile stretch of Camp Phillips Rd in Weston is finally open. The lanes are wide and the blacktop is smooth. The best part is that it doesn’t feel like you are going to lose your car to potholes when you go over the bridge. A 15 minute commute to the far side of Weston has now been whittled back down to 5. There’s lots of great things to say about the road now being open, but the best is that it is finally open.
In celebration, I shot a video clip of the new road. Enjoy.
