Winter is fast approaching, and the outdoor farmers markets have shut down for the year. But wouldn’t it be great to be able to get that same fresh meat, produce, and bakery that you could find at the Wausau and Weston farmers market all through the summer? The Planted Seed, a neighborhood bulk food market is meeting that demand with their indoor farmers market this fall.
For four Saturdays in November and December head over to The Planted Seed to get locally raised meats from New Grass Farms and Valley View Meats; cheese from Harmony Specialty Dairy Foods, produce from 2 Fungi’s Mushrooms, Paeleoni Olive Oil, and Malek Family Stewardship Farm; and bakery from Burich Bunch Bakery and Jojo’s Bakery.
The Indoor Farmers Market will be on Saturdays from 9:00am – 1:00pm on November 12, November 19, December 10, and December 17.
What a great way to pick up fresh, sustainable foods for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
