Come celebrate Halloween at the sixth annual Halloween Pipe Screams organ concert, 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 30th  at the First UU Church in Wausau. This fun and free event is open to anyone who wants to have a frightfully good time on Halloween.

From music director Marguerite Donnelly:

Every year local organists (and friends) come celebrate Halloween by playing any spooky or silly music they’ve always wanted to play in church, but usually can’t. Sometimes we add singers or other performers along with the organists. Who know what will happen at Halloween?!? Pumpkin carols will be sung as well, and there will be lots of Halloween treats for everyone. Hear what different organists can do with the church’s 1995 Holtkamp pipe organ, see the sanctuary all decked out for the holiday, and enjoy some carols and some treats.

This is a child and family friendly event (although it will get loud on occasion). Children and adults, performers and guests all are encouraged to wear costumes.
