Take advantage of the summer bounty of the season and eat locally by patronizing one of our many area farmer markets. Spending your money at a farmer’s market not only stimulate our local economy to a great degree, but it supports local agriculture and agri producers. When you consider that produce at a large supermarket could be trucked in from distances up to 1500 miles, it just makes sense to eat locally. The selection changes every week, so visit often to gather what is currently in season and available.
